Celebrating 20 Years in Real Estate

Here's a little information about me and why I feel the Real Estate industry is perfect for me. I feel I can offer my customers friendly & personalized service. I am very committed to helping people. It shows in my work. I fully enjoy giving all I can to make sure my clients are satisfied with the selling or buying process. I strive to make everyone happy!

I have lived in South Florida since 2001. My brother asked me to move here from Boston to help him manage his real estate development company. I got my real estate sales associate license in 2004 and I have specialized in residential sales in the tri-county area - specializing in North Broward and South Palm Beach Counties.

In February 2010, I went back to Real Estate School and upgraded my Sales Associate License to a Broker's License. I opened my own Real Estate Company, Serafina Realty Inc. in March 2010 and acquired West Broward Real Estate Group in January 2020. We are now working as one under Serafina Realty Inc. 

Serafina Realty Inc: Serafina was my mother's first name. She was born in Italy and came over as a young girl right before WWII. She married my father and after her 6 kids grew up, started working hard as a self-employed womens clothing store owner and eventually a famous costume store "Samantha's" in Salem, Massachusetts for over 20 years! She inspired her children to be self-employed and as her youngest, I learned so much from following her around. We were so blessed to have such a loving, caring, smart mom as a role model! Our dad was a self-emplyed architect and builder our whole lives, so between the two of them, our family became hard working, self-motivated, yet humble and kind business owners in construction, architecture and of course, real estate!   ~~ "Sempre Famiglia!" BUYING

If you are looking to buy a home or condominium in Broward or Palm Beach county, I can help!

I will first find out where and what you are looking for. I will search the MLS for properties fitting your criteria and email them directly to you to review. This process can take as long or be as quick as you want! 

If you would like to start this process, simply email me (sandra@serafinarealty.com) what cities or zipcodes you would like to live in. How many bedrooms and bathrooms you want/need, If you want a garage, pool, prefer 1 or 2 floors, etc. I will search the MLS and reply to your email as quick as I can with properties that match your criteria!

Once you see something you like, I make a appointments for us to go and view properties. I have a very flexible schedule and work every day of the week.

I also have access to foreclosures both on the MLS and direct, bank-owned lists.

SELLING

I have been very successful in selling homes. First, I search the MLS for properties that are for sale that are similar to your to see what similar properties are selling for.  I then search the SOLD properties to see what the sale price was and when properties have closed. These properties are crucial for determining the right price to sell your property. When your home sells, these "comparable" properties are what appraisers use to appraise your home and justify the sale price we get for your home.

During the marketing process I spare no expense promoting your property.  I have been known to send out postcards introducing the listing to neighbors and other areas of interest. I immediately take several bright, professional, pictures and create a virtual tour of your home using photos. Although not as popular as they have been in the past, at your request or convenience, I will hold "Open Houses" as often as possible to get potential buyers into your home. Most condominium communities do not allow open houses, but we can ask the manager.

I also have worked on several "short sales." If you are falling behind on your mortgage and are unable to refinance, please give me a call to discuss selling your home for less than what you owe and working with the bank to accept.
